I'm a design engineer: I take large, ambitious products from 0 to implementation, with a focus on usability, systems thinking, and the teamwork that makes it all possible.

My work has spanned clients and companies including InterSystems, Datadog, the World Bank, BBVA, and the Inter-American Development Bank. The products I've built support AI labs building frontier models, stock transaction processing at major global banks, global shipping companies and supply-chain operations, and decision-making at hospitals and health clinics in over 80 countries. I move between the research that tells us what to build, the design that makes it usable, and the engineering that makes it real.

I work AI-native: I've built my own AI tooling, ranked in the top 1% of Claude Code and Cursor users on internal leaderboards at both InterSystems and Datadog, and coach other designers on designing and building with AI.

I've also founded and grown design and research teams of 7 to 14 and taught 60+ designers at the master's level, many of whom are now in design-leadership roles at companies like Ford, Rappi, and Waze. No matter the place, I care most about building environments where people thrive.
